I've been working with D'Amico for several years, and have always found them to provide fair estimates and to do good work. They've replaced my well pump, replumbed my house, and take care of my annual boiler cleaning and any associated repairs. The only issue I've ever had with them was some sub-par work performed by a new employee; when I called them about it, they promptly sent out a more experienced person to correct the work at no extra charge (and ended up firing the first person.) I'm completely satisfied with their plumbing and heating work, and recommend them without reservations.

Plumber came in to fix the water temperature in our bathtub and in the process dripped hot solder into my acrylic Bathfitter's tub shell. The solder melted into the bathtub ruining the finish and creating a crater. Even after contacting the Better Business Bureau they still refuse to own up to the damage and pay to have the tub liner replaced. They should never have been working without first covering the tub and anything else that could get damaged. I'm beginning to wonder if they even have insurance since they're so against putting in an insurance claim. My next step will be to take them to court. Buyer beware.
