The four best words to describe Carmen and Dana's service cool, calm, polite, and professional. They did an excellent job shepherding guests, bridal party and family.
My wife and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. Ate a great dinner and bought a couple of bottles of wine from the gift shop. Went to our rooms to enjoy the hot tub and drink the wine we bought. We tried to lite the fireplace to set the mood, but it wasn't working. Called the front desk where we spoke to Chris who told us he would be right up to lite it after he checked a guest in. We waited an hour and a hour before I called the front desk again where Chris gave me the excuse that he was going to be right up once his partner arrived. Needless to say he never showed up and by then the mood was completely killed. We told the lady at the front desk in the morning when we went to check out where she assured us that she was going talk to Chris about it. I'm sure Chris is really going to learn his lesson after getting lectured(sarcasm). Between the rooms, the overpriced wine, and the way over priced dinner we dropped over 600 dollars for one night here you would think we could get our fireplace lit. This is a lesson learned and we will not be coming back.
Our wedding went off without a hitch at the Belhurst Castle. The grounds are beautiful and made for the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony - no arch necessary!

My daughter got married there in July, 2017. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire staff. They were flexible, kind, extremely accommodating and professional. Carmen, the coordinator, made sure that every detail was attended to. The food was very good as well. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and we are thrilled that we chose to have the wedding at this amazing and unique place. We are extremely grateful and everyone had a great time.
I attended a wedding at The Belhurst and, WOW, how picturesque for such a joyous occasion! As expected, the facility was absolutely gorgeous...once I found the entrance. I felt that the sign, large as it is, was difficult to read. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service provided was great. The food, however, left something to be desired. It was okay but not as great as I was expecting. In addition, there was a problem with the amount of food. Several people had little or nothing to eat; I don't know the particulars so I cannot say if it was an error committed by the facility or an issue with the guests that attended. The Belhurst tried to make up for it by exrending the time for open bar. Overall, I was pleased. I will not hesitate to attend another event there regardless of my experience.
We were there for a wine and cheese tasting and stayed for drinks afterward. Beautiful grounds and building. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wines and cheeses were some if the best we sampled. Would love to stay there overnight sometime.
