31 yrs ago i bought a dining room table & 6 chairs--very nice, never had a bit of trouble, but when i got the extra leaf out of its bag to extend the table length, more than a year later, it had a big gouge in it.
Bought a bunkbed and it came with scratches on pieces. Was told they would order new pieces and replace the damaged ones. Never happened. Also, The guys that assembled it did not put half the screws in it required (realizing after the fact) and now have a broken bed, awesome.
i also never needed the leaf again.
My boyfriend and I bought a futon from Bernie lynch and within 4 months the futon was cracking and falling apart. This piece of furniture cost $700.00 for both the frame and the mattress. We called Bernie Lynch and explained the situation and he asked us to send pictures of the damage, so we did. He said he was going to order another one and it would be there soon. After 2 weeks, nothing. We called and he explained that he had ordered one small part for it which is not the impression he gave us in the first place, we were under the impression that we were getting a replacement. We then further explained that the futon frame is breaking in multiple areas and one small piece is not going to make a difference. So he agreed finally to replace the futon frame. IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER A MONTH AND WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE NEW FRAME. When we ask him when we are getting it he replies... I don't know. and thats it. When he should be trying to find out. Finally I called him again and told him that the situation is rather ridiculous and he yells at me and hangs up on me. I called back and explained that we simply want a time frame of when we will have the futon and that there is no need to be confrontational and hang up on me like that. He said he hasn't even ordered it yet because he is waiting to get more products for an order so he can save money on the order. (along with more yelling at me and terrible attitude) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! BERNIE LYNCH HAS NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS. Coming from a very understanding person, I recommend going somewhere else when you need to purchase furniture.

My family and I have bought several pieces of furniture from Lynch's in Geneva, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences each time. The product was good quality, and salespeople were very pleasant to work with. I have recommended this company to several others.
i never called them, just checked it off to experience. i should have looked at it when i rec'd it.
